Artist Bio: The natural beauty surrounding my New Hampshire home inspires my artwork. As a retired chemist, I love to experiment with the wide range of processes available to contemporary printmakers and have used many of them in this series of prints highlighting fall foliage.
My printmaking education began with courses in traditional etching and aquatint on copper and zinc at the Kalamazoo (MI) Institute of Art and Paper and in other techniques at Book Intensive (PBI) workshops. My printmaking work has expanded in breadth during the past twenty years through short on-line and in-studio courses and workshops, primarily through Zea Mays, and employs non-toxic materials and methods
