THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL. CALL TO PUT YOUR NAME ON THE WAITING LIST.
This workshop is designed for monotype participants who would like to delve a little deeper into mark making / drawing with the support of an on-going class. We will explore how to layer transfer drawing, drypoint, and monotype plates.
Each day of the workshop begins with a demonstration of a printmaking technique and a focus on one aspect of drawing-applied-to-printing, followed by supported practice time with the materials. Participants will be encouraged to experiment, and apply these processes to their own individual print projects.Over the course of five weeks, participants will get to know the tools of the studio, the unique qualities of Akua Water-based Inks, and innovative monotype methods while exploring line and color.
