August 11 – August 28
I feel that we are again at a precipice between choices, choices made more stark & difficult by the pandemic, and complicated by our realization that it is not yet (ever?) over.
When we find ourselves in a place where the “right” choice is far from obvious, we can shift from anger to sadness. Perhaps these are the same thing: sadness about being angry, anger at being sad.
I have chosen pieces for this exhibition that illuminate complexity, tinted by feelings of ‘blueness’, or ‘redness’, or both.
I am very grateful to these nine artists for sharing their wonderful work.
