I am a mixed media artist working with prints, collage, fiber, sculpture and paint.
I like to follow the materials I am working with and am driven by the process. I am interested in creating surfaces and am drawn to texture. I am currently making images which remind me of what I see and feel while walking in the woods, or looking down at the ground or up at the sky. Art making helps me feel my connection to the earth. Through my work I am exploring the relationship between the body and nature, the process of time and personal history, and cycles of growth and decay.
