Working in a variety of printmaking techniques I love trying to integrate new methodologies. I also try to be as sustainable as possible in my practice, working on recycled plastic and making my own papers from junk mail and plants. My approach to images ranges from observation drawings to abstracted studies of rock textures and tree branch webs. All of these prints have been inspired by the conservation land that adjoins my property. From tall man-made walls of rock abandoned years ago to deep ponds and forest growth, the area now inspires folks who visit to slow down, listen, and just be.
