Suzanne Artemieff
My work focuses on the ever-shifting inner sense of finding equanimity, or balance, within the powerful dynamics between external and internal stimuli. I try to capture the intense felt senses from awed expansiveness and interconnectedness to fear and disorientation to ambivalence or mixed emotions. Even the seemingly simple landscapes I print are selected for the mood they evoke in me and, hopefully, the viewer.
