Nancy Haver

Nancy Haver

Nancy Haver was captivated by the printing process as an 8-year-old, when she helped her father develop black and white photographs. Trained as a naturalist, she holds an M.F.A. degree in printmaking from the University of Massachusetts; she taught illustration and relief printmaking at the University of Massachusetts and Holyoke Community College. Initially a scientific illustrator, Nancy’s work appears in journals, trade books, magazines, and on murals. At home outdoors, she appreciates exploring natural places as an artist-in-residence and hiking in western Massachusetts. Nancy is a member of the Boston Printmakers, the Society of American Graphic Artists, and Zea Mays Printmaking.
