Kathleen Zimmerman
Kathleen Zimmerman received artistic merit scholarships and academic grants from the University of Hartford Art School in West Hartford, Connecticut. There she earned her Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in sculpture & printmaking. Since graduation, she has taken printmaking workshops at Zea Mays Printmaking in Massachusetts, made molds of large-scale sculpture for Lands End Sculpture Center in Colorado, taught art at Irving Robbins Middle School in Connecticut, participated in a five-year residency in Beijing, China, worked with the master printmakers at Modern Multiples in California before opening up her own art studio in Connecticut. She is a signature member of the National Association of Women in NYC, artist member of The Boston Printmakers, Zea Mays Studio, Arts Center East, and Eastern Connecticut Center for History, Art, and Performance. She has shown widely, won numerous awards, and her work is in both private and public collections.
