Annie Silverman
I am primarily a relief print maker interested in botanical forms, patterning and experimentation with materials and printing matrices. I work in a series format, and love carving new wood blocks and seeing where they take me and my work. This past year I discovered from an instagram post, OIL BOARD, a material that has been a welcome addition to my collection of methods for making printing plates. I am a colorist and am a proud member of the “more is more” school of printmaking.
