Initially, participants will create compositional drawings and transfer them onto square shaped relief blocks. Once carved, these blocks will be inked in various colors and printed in different configurations, opening up the vast possibilities for exciting variation. Participants will create a series of multiple color prints.
Emphasis will be given to design and repetition, value and color, paper choice, ink and transparency, and multiple color block printing techniques.
