Creating Ink From Natural Dyes

with Marjorie Morgan.

This series of four video tutorials will introduce students to the exciting field of making handmade inks. This creative learning experience combines artistry with science and environmentalism as we discover how different natural items transform from living matter into rich pigment. Students will learn how to make their own, unique inks from a variety of materials and then use them in creating small paintings and monotypes.

The series is designed to be viewed in order, but can also be viewed singularly as fits the needs of each student.
