Friedhard Kiekeben

Friedhard Kiekeben is a Chicago-based international artist with a long-standing engagement with an expanded notion of printmaking within contemporary art practice, both conceptually and technically.

Following completion of a research degree at the Royal College of Art in 1993, the artist also became a leading pioneer in ‘nontoxic’ and innovative approaches to making prints, and is associated with the development of some key processes such as The Edinburgh Etch, and the Saline Sulfate Etch, and is widely published in the field of printmaking innovation.
