Bring your undone, your false starts, your problem prints to this workshop to learn ways to see, edit and complete your pieces. Clarifing your artistic intentions and evaluating how well choices of composition, color, marks, and content work is the foundation of better editing skills. Each of the four weekly sessions will combine lots of studio time with individualized and group discussion. Students can work in monotype, intaglio, relief or mixed media, using either Akua, water or oil based inks. In addition to studying the formal elements of art, students will receive individualized instruction in whatever technique they are working in. This class offers a lively, supportive place to get unstuck, try new directions, explore and extend your art practice.
