$365.00

Saturday-Sunday, March 28-29, 10 AM-5 PM

Registration Deadline: March 14

with Annie Bissett

Suitable for both beginners and experienced printers, Wood & Water is a fun and easy way to become comfortable with the basic ingredients of mokuhanga printing: wood, water, pigment, paste, paper and pressure.

Discover fresh and contemporary ways of using this ancient Japanese printing method by experimenting with uncarved (or lightly-carved) blocks of wood, masks, stencils, and pressure printing.

Note that students who want to explore carving will need to purchase and bring a few of their own carving tools. A complete materials list will be sent upon registration. Registration includes a materials fee which covers plates, ink and paper.

We are grateful to McClain’s Printmaking Supplies for their generous partial sponsorship of this workshop.
