Project Based Photopolymer Weekly
October 13, 2022 @ 10:00 am - November 17, 2022 @ 3:00 pm
Thursdays, October 13 – November 17, 10 AM – 3 PM
with Nancy Diessner.
Limited to 6 people by application
This class is designed to meet the needs of the printmaker who has already experienced basic photopolymer platemaking and wants to develop a body of work over 6 weeks with the regular input and support of an instructor and other artist participants. Weekly classes will include demonstrations and technical support in response to each participant’s project needs, as well as focused group discussions of work in progress. Individual one-on-one support for projects will also be a part of each class.
Participants need to be able to work on their own between classes.
If you’re interested in this weekly class, please fill out this application outlining your intentions for your project. Please note: it is understood that your project may change before and after the classes begin. For the application it’s most important to get a sense of your general focus and intentions in relation to photopolymer and your artwork content.
For those interested in this class but who have not worked in photopolymer in a while or who have not worked with photopolymer at Zea Mays, we can offer private or semi-private refresher classes before the workshop begins. Please fill out this request form.
Price: $600 + individual materials fees
Note: Materials fees are not included in the price for this workshop. Materials costs will be calculated and charged to participants after the workshop is completed.
