This workshop is a deep dive into sourcing support for your distinct creative practice. Participants will learn about where to find a range of professional opportunities, how to maintain records about deadlines, applications, & exhibitions, & will draft a proposal for a specific opportunity. Class time will include meeting as a group for presentations & discussions with intermittent breakouts for individual work time & one-on-one consultation about resources & opportunities that best fuel your practice. Group will meet from 10am – 2pm, followed by 30 minute individual meetings to be scheduled within the week for each participant.

About the Instructor:
Tracey Cockrell is an interdisciplinary artist who frequently collaborates with other artists, writers, & musicians. Her ongoing creative research focuses on the confluence of sound & vision. She is visiting faculty in sculpture at Bennington College & teaches in the MFA in Studio Art at Maine College of Art (MECA).
