Saturday, May 20, 10 AM – 2 PM + 30 minutes individual instruction

Every artist’s situation is unique. What’s your vision for your journey as an artist? In this workshop, you will hone your vision into a platform for action. Participants will clarify their values as an artist, align individual long & short-term goals to values, build a timeline to support their goals, & create an annual action plan for meeting professional goals. Class time will include meeting as a group for presentations & discussions with intermittent breakouts for individual work time & one-on-one consultation to navigate your professional development. Group will meet from 10am – 2pm, followed by 30 minute individual meetings to be scheduled within the week for each participant.

About the Instructor:

Tracey Cockrell is an interdisciplinary artist who frequently collaborates with other artists, writers, & musicians. Her ongoing creative research focuses on the confluence of sound & vision. She is visiting faculty in sculpture at Bennington College & teaches in the MFA in Studio Art at Maine College of Art (MECA).
