Have you wanted to expand your book making skills to include 3-D pop-ups? Come to this workshop to learn the first steps in the process – paper engineering! Learn basic folding and cutting techniques that allow you to transform your 2D prints into 3D structures. We will make a series of templates that you can apply to your own prints and discuss how these techniques can be further developed into pop-up books. Bring prints or other works on paper to experiment with.
Although designed with printmakers in mind, non-printmakers are also welcome as these techniques will work with any kind of works on paper.
