March 8 @ 6:00 pm - March 29 @ 9:00 pm
$175.00Wednesdays, March 8-29, 6 PM – 9 PM
with Zoë Dong
Combine drypoint and collograph techniques in this low-tech, eco-friendly four-week evening course. Transform the everyday tetrapak-brand beverage carton into a versatile printmaking plate that can record line and texture in experimental, playful ways. We’ll create line and ranges of tone on cartons, and then explore a world of soft color gradations when we print multiple plates in color.
This class will be enjoyed by anyone who loves drawing, working with nontraditional materials, and who isn’t afraid to explore process. It is designed for students who might not be able to attend other classes for scheduling or financial reasons; previous printmaking experience is not necessary for this class.
