Discover the beauty of the printed line! During this weekend workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn how to create and print drypoint plates,and explore compositions using trace monotype. Both techniques will expand your range of linear mark making.
Using PETG plates and/or recycled materials such as plastic salad containers and multiple color trace monotypes, we will explore line quality and textures to create innovative compositions.
Participants will be exposed to a variety of inking options, basic color mixing and printing strategies including damp packing and working with different papers. Multiple plate registration with also be addressed.
No press needed.
No previous experience needed.
