Explore the many screenprinting techniques that don’t require a darkroom!
This two-day workshop will begin by introducing a new coffee lift process to create easy painterly stencils. We will also spend time working with stencils made of cut paper and tape, as well as watercolor monotypes – all techniques that can easily be done from home. We will be printing primarily on paper and using layering to create depth and complex colors.
The workshop will also cover basic printing technique and paper registration – everything you need to get started on a screenprinting project or to refresh your skills. All levels of experience are welcome.
