Bring your prints and creativity and let’s reinvent imagery!
During this 1-Day workshop, participants will be introduced to a variety of collage techniques incorporating different prints, papers and mixed media.
A series of small works will be created with focus on composition, texture, color, balance and unity.
Adhesives and paper choices and well as weaving and 3D options will be discussed.
Basic Supplies:
- Variety of prints
- Printmaking or other strong support paper
- Variety of scrap papers (colored, toned)
- Glue stick
- Bone folder or spoon
- Scissors
- X-acto knife
- Cutting surface or board
About the Instructor:
Amaryllis Siniossoglou is a tenured full-time faculty at the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Worcester State University. As an artist she actively shows nationally and internationally. Her artwork involves printmaking, book arts and digital media, painting and sculpture, and is included in museums and collections. She speaks English, French, Italian and Greek and lives in Cambridge, MA where she runs a print studio.
