with Rich Turnbull
Have you ever thought about turning your prints into books? Or going beyond a simple book structure and venturing into 3-D? Then this workshop is for you!
Learn to push the boundaries of artists’ books in this two-day workshop by experimenting with page size/shape, expanding spines to incorporate 3D additions, sewing prints into accordion fold books and more. Rich will meet you where you are in terms of book making and help you take your skills to a new level.
No bookmaking experience necessary; bring your ideas, any works on paper you’d like to experiment with and your imagination. Students will leave with several book templates and/or a finished project and a series of ideas to work on at home.
