
Deepening Your Color Knowledge Through Printmaking via ZOOM

Through relaxing and meditative color exercises, this weekend workshop will provide participants the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of color mixing using printmaking inks (all brands are acceptable for this workshop.)
This workshop will include limited printmaking demonstrations, focusing more on color mixing and charts. Participants will create a portfolio including individual color charts for future reference.
Emphasis will be given to the use of chromatic grays vs muted colors, color proportion and color vibration, complementary and split complementary color schemes, color interpretation and accents.
There is no need for a press. All levels are welcome.

About the Instructor:
Amaryllis Siniossoglou is a tenured full-time faculty at the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Worcester State University. As an artist she actively shows nationally and internationally. Her artwork involves printmaking, book arts and digital media, painting and sculpture, and is included in museums and collections. She speaks English, French, Italian and Greek and lives in Cambridge, MA where she runs a print studio.
