Move beyond basic color theory!  During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore more in-depth color mixing and color schemes to be applied to printmaking.

Emphasis will be given to color intensity, muted and chromatic grays, transparency vs white, color interpretation and color moods, split complementary color schemes, printing and ink properties.

This workshop will include limited printmaking demonstrations, focusing more on color mixing and charts. Participants will create a portfolio including individual color charts for future reference.

There is no need for a press. Participants of one of Amaryllis’ previous Color for Printmakers workshops will particularly benefit from this experience.
