1-Day Monotype Experience via ZOOM
January 27, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
$140.00 – $325.00Saturday, January 27, 10 AM-5 PM
This one-day workshop will offer participants a fun and informative monotype experience.
Amaryllis will guide participants through a variety of exercises exploring composition, color and working in series. You’ll play with painterly approaches to mark making as well as more graphic approaches using transfer drawn lines and hard-edged shape. We’ll use textures, masks and stencils to build up layers, creating rich monotype images.
Participants will get instruction in color mixing, plate and paper registration and printing without a press.
Participants are welcome to use any inks of their choice.
In addition to demonstrations, the workshop will include time for sharing and feedback from the instructor and fellow participants.
