Angela is a visual artist and parent of two small children residing in Western Massachusetts. The materials she most often uses are curated from daily occurrences, be it scraps from jobs or picking through sidewalk free piles. She invites chance, thriftiness, and ecological concerns to inform her studio practice.
She received her BFA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, MN. She has attended residency programs at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, NE, Elsewhere Artist Collaborative in Greensboro, NC, and Three Walls in Chicago, IL.
