An important part of digital imaging for any artist is having an organized archive of your images from which to choose art for exhibit entries, social media, and your web site. Your archive is an invaluable time saver. In this class you will learn how to create a comprehensive digital library of your artwork. We will discuss computer organizational methods and how to tailor a file system to your needs as an artist.

By the end of the workshop you will know how to: scan large and small prints; accurately size your image file; adjust the image color; select the best file type (tiff, jpeg, eps) for your needs; and transfer your image files via upload, download and flash drive.

This workshop is spread over two weeks, meeting twice each week, to allow you time to work on you own and bring questions back to the class as you learn to scan, size, color correct, organize, and archive your images.

No previous experience necessary.

Materials: Laptop (optional); Flash Drive
