Drawing from the many artists that participated in the Zea Mays studio flat file project of 2017, ten artists were selected by curator Bruce Ployer for this exhibit on abstraction within this collective of sustainable printmakers.

Established in 2000, Zea Mays Printmaking in Northampton Massachusetts is dedicated to research, practice and dissemination of safe printmaking. They offer studio access, workshops, residencies, internships, mentorships and contract 
printing services to an international community of artists. Demonstrating the high quality and creative possibilities of original prints made with health consciousness is at the core of their mission. 

Artists included: Joan Dix Blair, Judith Bowerman, Jenny Gover, Rachel Gugler, Marsha Humphrey, Erika Knerr, Lynn Peterfreund, Hannah Richards, Joyce Silverstone, Janet Walerstein Winston.
